2001 Ford Expedition 5.4 V8 Will Not Start When Warm
I would appreciate any thoughts or, help as I have pretty much used up every bit of knowledge. Most of the time when the engine is warm, the idle runs high @ 1500-2000 RPM. If you turn it off it will not start back up without pushing the accelerator to the floor. Even then sometimes it will not stay running or it will die when you put it in gear.
What I have done:
-Replaced injectors, plugs (NGK Iridium), fuel pump, IAC valve, fuel filter, PCV valve, and air filter (K&N).
-I cleaned the intake and lubed the linkage.
-Ran several cans of Sea Foam through the system.
-Scanned, no codes.
-Fuel Pressure was wacky but, now stable and holds with KO.
-Checked PCV emission hose for cracks or, breaks.
When it is running and warm the only noticeable problem is you can hear the the valves fluttering like we used cheap gas.
Help?? Thanks! Chris.
