2001 Frod Expedition 4.6
I have a 2001 Frod Expedition 4.6 and lately I have had a problem with it hitting 60+ mph... it jumps all the way to 4k rpm for about 15 seconds... its wasting all my gas!!! it has a little rough idle when you start it but when you get it on the freeway it has a hard time picking up... so i floor it to get it to shift so the rpm's will go back down.
I've done a tune up... changed the plugs, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, oil change, topped off all my fluids, i even did the general transmission service about 9 months ago. i changed the EGR Sensor, all 4 o2 sensors and checked all the vacuum lines and everything seems to be fine. I dont know what to do and my check engine light isnt on.
What i was thinking about doing is going to get the complete throttle body and fuel injectors serviced.
but what about the following:
m.a.p. sensor
speed sensor
air change temperature sensor
idle air control valve
fuel pressure regulator
egr valve pressure sensor
egr vacuum sensor
egr valve position sensor
throttle air bypass valve
idle speed control motor
throttle position sensor
egr valve
