2004 expi body bushing replacement.

Got a 2004 Eddie Bauer with body bushings up under the frame. Would like some help on how to properly replace and repair bushing. Any suggestions on what to use for replacement bushing would be great.

Most of the time these are a dealer item and would be best if you checked with a dealer parts dept. You may need to loosen the holdown bolts and raise the body just enough to take the load off the present squashed bushing and replace it with the new bushing.
I hope we are talking about the same things.

Yes we are. I'm looking for aftermarket alternative or something home made.?

If we are talking about the same bushings, they function as isolators to help reduce noise and vibration that is telegraphed to the inside of the vehicle. They generally have a metal sleeve within to limit how far you can tighten them yet still keep a lot of noise from getting into the vehicle. They are many times a 2 piece part and there are no alternatives that I know of . Most of the time they last the life of the vehicle. Is there some reason the ones on your vehicle require replacement?
