Battery light on......
 

I have a 2000 Ford Expedition with the 4.6L engine. Ok, a few weeks back, we had a dead battery. Bought a brand new battery and replaced. A couple weeks later the battery light starts coming on and then we start losing dash lights and everything. Bought a REMANUFACTURED alternator ( the parts store confirmed that the altenator was bad) and replaced. Drove to the grocery store down the road and when wife returned, the battery light was back on. Bad alternator? Any help would be helpful, thanks!

I think I can answer this for you. Sounds like a bad alternator to me. I guarantee it!!

2 bad units in a row? Who's alternators?

Are they testing the alternator/s themselves, or a voltage/charge rate test on the battery?
