Bypass Automatic 4WD
 

I am looking for a quick and economical way to bypass the autmatic 4WD from engaging. Preferebly an electronic method. I have thought about getting a different (2wd option) selector switch from the local pick-and-pull to see if that would do it, but have not been able to ascertain any solid information on whether it would even work. If it doesn't I am stuck with a selector switch that is useless to me.

Has anybody ever seen this done? Know how to do it?
