This may have been asked before, but I am knew here. I have a 2001 Expedition and on the inside bottom lip of all 4 doors and the tailgate, there is rust. In fact, the passenger doors are rusting so bad, the green color of the door on the outside is beginning to turn copper. I didn't notice the rust until Feb 2006 and the warranty on corrosion expired Dec 2005. Ford says they will do nothing. I have seen on other forums that certain model years of Expeditions and F150s were not treated for rust (I don't know if that was for the doors only or whole SUV). I think 2001 was one of the years.
Has anyone else heard of this and if so, do you know how I can verify that informaiton??

I have the same problem. Ford dealer says the corrosion coverage only covers rust-through. It is a shame, because we would love to keep this vehicle for may years.
