HELP!!! EXPEDITION WON'T START!!!!!
 

GUYS YOUR MY LAST RESORT.....
I have a 97 ford expedition...


And yesterday it won't start. I heard a clicking popped the hood, And heard it from the start selenoid...So I said ok its that. Went bought a new one. And I hook it up didnt start. Keep trying then started. Today I tryed to start it and now it wont start again. I asked someone else. And they said it might be the theft system. Cause I dont have a remote just a key..And when I try to start it the door locks lock and unlock. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!! ANYONE... NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS...I Was thinking since I disconnected teh negative from the battery to replace the start selenoid that, that might have resetted the alarm thats why it started after like 4 tries....But I dunnooo HELP

Take a look at the wires on the starter. These are notorious for the cable connections to corrode away. It may be hard to see under there, but look carefully.

9 outa 10 times it's a dirty battery post. Check them and clean them up. If you still have troubles go down the line. Battery voltage, alternator. But I bet it's a battery post.

have you tried starting with starting fluid? If so and it starts, then you may want to check if the clicking noise is coming from the passenger side inside fender where there is a fuse box. If that's the location of the clicking. The fuel relay is part of the fuse box itself. You will have to exchange the entire box, with the positive wire included. Hope this helps. Good luck!
