Im new and thought I would post a quick Review of my rig.

Hi all, just found this forum and thought I would check it out. I own a 99 Expedition and I love It. I have have had many Trucks & SUV's and this rig has been the most user friendly and all around reliable as I could ever ask.

I was always a fan of the bodystyle of this rig sence they first came out. As big as the vehical is, it is very easy to drive. You definatly dont feel like you are in a full size SUV. The turning radious in this thing is absolutly crazy. A few of my friends are die hard Jeep guys and even they cant belive how well my Expo turns.

As well as it does on road, its off road capiblities are no sloutch ither. This definalty is not the correct ride for some serious rock crawling or anyhting like that but I have been down some pretty ruff trails and this thing is a champ. Mind you my truck is NOT stock.

I have upgraded the intake to a K&N. The Cat Back system is custom and has a Areo Turbine muffler. I went with a single instead of the double most people go with. I personally prefer the way it sounds. In my mind these mods should be done by everyone. It just makes sence. Better gas milage, more power. It pays for itself. I have also added a 3" body lift, 3" rear spring spacers, and cranked the torsion bars 2.5". BTY I noticed NO difference in ride after the bars were tightened. With the rig up 6" it clears the 35" Nitto tires on 16X10 wheels. NO RUBBING WHAT SO EVER.

I have also done some other cosmetic things like the billet grill and new fenders. I have a very long list if things that are going to get done on this ride. Little by little it will get done.

Im not going to say I have not had any problems though. Mostly little things that you would expect from a almost 10 year old ride. Ive replaced the altinator, MAS, both o2 sensers, battery, if had two recharge the AC every summer. " I do that myself so no biggi there ", The worst thing ive had to do was the heater core. If you have done it yourself then you know what im talking about. I would say this is all pretty standard stuff though. Its the price you pay for having an older vehical right.

Here is a couple pictures. Ill post more if people are interested. Thanks for looking, Jeff
