intake manifold
Hello
I have and 2008 expedition and i have antifreeze sitting in a pool on top of my Intake manifold. I just had new spark plugs and coils put in less than a week ago. Should I assume that there is a crack somewhere in the manifold or could it just be a gasket. Any suggestions..

One way to handle this is to blow all the anti freeze off the top of the engine.
Then with a cooling system pressure tester raise the cooling system pressure to no more then 15lbs pressure and look for where the anti freeze is coming out.
It could be something simple like a loose hose clamp or the other end of the spectrum and that could be possibly intake manifold gaskets or intake manifold itself.
Best not to jump to conclusions until the source is determined.
Sometimes a small leak at the front of the engine can get blown all over the top of the engine by the cooling fans. Once the source is determined, measures can be taken to repair the leak.
