You can buy them pretty cheap on Ebay. Do a search and you will see them.

I also have a 2000 edie bauer, which I bought used and the seller didnt have that info,I had to go to the dealer and they can scan the trucks computer and give you that code

RE: keyless entry pad?????
My original code was on the inside of the balck cloth folder in the glove box. If someone has changed it, the original code still works as well as one that was programmed. It's worth a try to check in the manual.

RE: keyless entry pad?????
the code is located under the dash on the drivers side to the left of the brake pedal above the kick panel on a white box. it will be a 5 digit # in bold type. let me know if you find it.

RE: keyless entry pad?????
don't pay to have the code redone .....look under the dash (under the steering wheel area) and you'll see the box with the code printed on it on a white label. Your owner's manul will also tell you in more detail where this location is.

RE: keyless entry pad?????
Anyone know where (short of the dealership) I can find the code for a 2003 XLT Expedition (purchased used - I also looked inside the vehicle manual and the glove box) - I looked underneath the steering wheel by the brake pedal and there is nothing there!?! Thanks in advance.

RE: keyless entry pad?????
i read someone elses reply that you have to pull the glove box all of the way down by pressing in on the two tabs on the side. Basically just sqeeze the glove box until it hangs all the way down. next get a flashlight and look way in towards the engine and you'll be able to see a small metal box with a sticker on it. the five bold numbers closest to you is the code numbers you are looking for. I just did this a couple of days ago and it is correct. I could barely see it so dont give up.
