multifunction switch!

i have a 1998 ford expedition and i may need to change this switch and im not sure where or what it is! i was also curious if it controls all the brake lights. and other functions such as my windshield wipers and turn signal bc they work fine!

RE: multifunction switch!

okay! my 2 bottoms brake lights do not work. the third one in the hatch works. i have changed the lightbulbs, the switch under the brake petal, and have had a test done to tell me that there is no juice going to the sockets themselves so i bought a wiring diagram and was told it could be the malfunction switch. (or bpp) i cant find one on the internet anywhere to get directions or pricing!

I can help you with that pricing would be@ 56.00 for the turn signal switch and the stop lamp switch is @30.00

I have a 2000 Ford Expedition. The multifunction turns my lights to bright after making a turn. I am trying to replace the switch but it doesn't work correctly. What should I do to troubleshoot it?

Could you please explain trying to replace the switch, but it doesn't work correctly ?

There are a few things you need to do to replace that switch.

the only things that switch controls are the wipers dimmer for the headlights and turn signals depending on what the model of expedition you have, the brake lights go through the turn signals to allow the lights on the back to operate properly
