Rear Door Latch fixed in locked position
Hi,
Has anyone run across this before? I have a 00 Eddie Bauer Expedition and the rear passenger door will not close. The lock latch is fixed in the locked position and I cannot close the door. Any ideas will be helpful.

Ok I had to remove the door to observe the locking mechanism and after I put back it in place I got the door to close. However I cannot open the door from the inside (the original problem). I don't see anything loose or broken. The door will not respond from the handle. Any ideas out there?
