1994 Explorer Constant Chime Alarm

My 1994 Ford Explorer has a constant chime alarm even after the car is started and running. I can remove the fuse, but that kills my radio. Can anybody tell me what casues this and/or how to fix this? I would just cut the wires to the chime, but I don't know where it is.

Thank,

Mike

My thought would be normally when you open the door and your keys are still in the ignition, a sensor makes it chime to tell you that you've left you're keys...I would start in that system to see whether there is a short or ground or something along those lines...

if you have a air bag problem and it has the dash bulb burnt it will chime all the time as well but if your dome light is staying i would say a door switch
