My wife's Explorers drivers side door handle seems loose like one of the springs is broken. I have seen online that you can buy the whole handle assembly, but I was wondering if you can just replace the springs. I do not want to have pay to have the handle painted, if possible. I also understand that the assembly is riveted to the door how hard are they to remove and replace. The door still opens but it is something I would like to fix before it becomes a real problem.
