Default 1999 Ford Explorer start up trouble

So last week or so I noticed a slgiht hesitation on the start up and today it took several attempts to finally get it going. I'll have the battery checked again but last I checked it was good and charging fine.

Any other reasons for the the start up hesitation?

Is it the starter that has a hesitation? [hr]Or the engine firing over?

I guess its the starter that has hesitation. When I turned the key it cranked then took some time to fully kick it.

I would start be removing and cleaning the battery terminals.[hr]With the battery terminal's removed clean the connection's at the starter relay then the starter.[hr]The one at the starter is the one that corrode's the most and cause's problem's like this.

Had the same sort of problem with my 99 Explorer. It turned out to be fowled injectors. Have you had yours cleaned lately?

No I havent had them cleaned lately. It started running ok since then but tonight it started idling really really rough and I could feel it about to misfire while I was in the 5th gear then the check engine light starting flashing.
