2002 Explorer/Keyless entry sets off alarm

Hey all. I own a 2002 Ford explorer which i bought about 1 yr ago. It has keyless entry, and when i unlock the doors with the remote and open the door...the alarm goes off!! The doors will lock and unlock just fine, but it is pointless since the alarm is set off whenever you just open the door. Would be nice to enjoy keyless entry. The dealership said it's a sensor probably but they didn't seem to want to help much and just wanted to get me give up. Anyone have any idea/input?!??

There's a Technical Service Bulletin whichprovides info. on the procedure for programming the keyless remote and correcting related problems. This may or may not help you, but after reading it, I'm wondering whether your remote(s) were programmed properly and whether reprogramming might help solve your problem with the alarm issue.TSB 03-18-1 -Keyless Remote Entry (KRE) Service Tipshttp://www.stangnet.com/images/stori...s/03-18-01.pdfI also tried to locate the wiring diagram for your Explorer to determine sensor location(s) in case this is a sensor issue, but only found an overview of the various wirecolor codes, so that wasn't helpful.
