2013 Expedition Wiper Motor transmission and linkage

Backstory :
Linkage from the transmission to the passenger side wore out and only the driver wiper was working .

Solution : replace the wiper motor linkage and transmission : why not , I’m already there

Problem: when installing the new assembly , I can’t Manuever the assembly in place where the passenger side mount on
the linkage bracket sets on top of the mounting position on the firewall. Pictures below, any suggestions https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...ab702567f.jpegPassenger side (incorrect mounting ) Drivers side(correct)

Welcome to the site..

When installing a replacement wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly or windshield wiper motor, you'll need to temporarily connect the wiper motor connector to operate the motor until the wiper motor crank has rotated approximately 180 degrees from the PARK position (normally as shipped).
