2014 explorer sport rough idle

Hi All,

to keep a long story short… after driving 600 miles from Boston to Virginia with no issues.. I drove another 200 miles west a couple days later.. after it sat for a couple hours at the hotel.. wife went half mile away and it was blowing white smoke.. found out my turbo went south had oil coming out.

after a week of waiting to get the turbos replaced I had a bunch of codes due to some oil lingering still. I cleared them and it was fine.

I noticed when cold it had a little rough idle but not like shaking. Around 600 in park when warm sounded literally fine once warmed up.

I drove back home 600 miles engine light was back on the whole time. However I got 25mpg the whole way no shaking or performance issues at all. You’d think it had no issues.

seems to idle high when cold 1300 then drops to 1000 then makes its way to 600 as it warms up.

wife said it was idling rough when she went to drop our kid off ( rough when cold sitting in line)

engine codes are P0018, P0021, P0022

it seems to drive fine however a few days ago I got a low oil pressure light but it’s never came back. I had them replace my oil when doing turbos since he said it was pretty low.

I can’t tell if this is just a sensor maybe gummed up from the turbos going south. Or if I actually have a timing chain problem. I can floor it and the turbos kick hard. I did notice when I let it scream down the road.. 0-60ish eventually I smelt some burning oil.

no idea if it’s a sensor.. vacuum leak.. timing chain slightly off? Cam/crank sensor bad
i have a valve cover gasket leak but it’s been there since before the turbo went bad not sure that relates at all.
