2016 Exp A/C Issues

I have a 16 Explorer XLT, the A/C is being weird. It will randomly not regularly adjust the speed on its own. I have changed the Blower Motor Resistor twice, replaced the battery also. It is still doing it. When on full blast, randomly drop speed and then go back up. Sometimes when I manually turn down the fan, it can take up to 5 minutes for the actual fan to go lower in speed. When I first changed the battery i went to leave, when accelerating the blower stopped completely and when i Braked at a light the blower kicked on. very weird. Temp is great just the fan .
Any suggestions?
Thank you

It sounds like the HVAC control module is malfunctioning.
We always check for good power and ground connections before replacing a module. If both are good, usually module replacement fixes it.

Whats the easiest way to check that? Today I drive to my closest metro area 45 miles for some shopping. Set air to lowest fan speed it blew highest speed whole way.

Expensive scan tool. Probably cheaper to have capable shop verify this.

My neighbor has one. Had to get it updated didn’t show 2016 as an option. But I checked the prices on rockauto and they aren’t that bad to replace the blower motor. Now if I can find a how to video lol
