2016 Sport hands free liftgate.
We recently purchased an 2016 Explorer sport and the kick open feature of the lift gate is not working, Ford has not been able to locate the sensor. Where is this sensor located , I looked under the rear bumper and don't see a sensor. Can anyone help me locate the sensor so I can replace it..

Welcome to the site.. Looks to be clipped to and inside the lower bumper cover requiring the bumper/cover to removed. Ford has proved out that the sensor has is cause, or set fail code/s? |
Yes, Ford diagnosed the problem , said they ordered sensor, over 2 weeks ago. Do you know the part number, why is it so difficult to get ?
