94 explorer runs rough after it warms up

94 explorer sometimes runs okay after start up but mostly acts as if it isn't getting the right air or fuel ratio. It starts to severly bog down and act as if its going to stall but usually doesn't. I changed the fuel pump and it ran okay for a while but it started this again. I have also changed the mass air flow sensor and nothing. Another note: the gas tank nozzle is extremley rusty and I was told that could be a problem. Can I get this part at a auto store or a salvage yard? The cap doesn't seem like it's seated correctly and I wonder if this could cause the bogging.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

RE: 94 explorer runs rough after it warms up

hey does it mostly bog down or try to stall when you stop? if this is so..try changing the idle air control valve. it is located on the throttle body. it ran me about $45 or so. However..IF you want to check this first to see...pull off the throttle body hose, open the butterfly valve, spray some throttle body cleaner inside (get a rag near for the excess to run onto). Close it up, and starter. If it runs without trouble for a few days, most likely that is the problem.

I appreciate the reply, it mostly seems to bog down when I accelerate. Once it is warm it almost dies and occaisionaly does. I am VERY frustrated with this and need wheels asap., So if there is anything else you or anyone has to offer please advise. Thanks.

I had a rusty filler also.. When I replaced my fuel pump I thought I would see a lot of crap in the tank.. Very little was found..
