97 eddie bauer keyless entry pad
 

I own a 97 eddie bauer edition explorer awd V8. i have keyless entry remotes for it but they wont program into the system. I took it to a local ford dealer and they tried but told me it was not working because the keyless entry pad on the drivers side door is not working. Any suggestions on getting it to work or what might be wrong with it would be great!!!!!!
