Ford Explorer This long running SUV has stood tough against the barrage of new entries into the mid sized SUV market, and with a variety of engine sizes and trim lines, the Exploder offers something for everyone.

This can't be good, but how bad is it?

I noticed this "piece" hanging down when I was walking up to it tonight. Not sure how long it's been like that, and the 2010 Explorer seems to run fine. It does make a bit of a grinding noise, especially when I turn right, or hit a pothole as I'm turning.

Welcome to the site..

One of the exhaust hangars. Should have it repaired so it doesn’t allow for stress on the exhaust joints etc.

The other concerns noted, a failed hangar wouldn’t cause those issues..
