Brakes to Avoid on 2000 Explorer

I would like to know what type of brakes to avoid buying for my explorer. If anyone has had an issue with a specific brand of brake let me know(I.E. brakes that squeaked too much, cracked, uneven braking power etc. ) Or if you know of an outstanding set of brakes(not talking about some 500 dollar racing brakes, haha) would like to keep the cost per set under $100 or even $50 if possible.

Well, my wife is BRAKE ABUSIVE...Plain and simple, GO FAST-BRAKE HARD... I have a set of Morse-Ceramic Brake Pads that I got at AUTOZONE for $31.00 2 years ago. I am very pleased with them. With about 15,000 miles on them, they still have about 90% pad left. Virtually no dust, smooth even wear on the rotors, no noise or pulsationwhat-so-ever and brakes better than any other non-ceramic pads. Don't know if thay have them for the Explorer or not.
