Cigarette Lighter

I accidentally pushed the cigarette lighter that is beside the radio in my 99 explorer sport into the dashboard. How do I remove the black panel panel surrounding the radio to get to it? Also, what is that yellow plug with wires that is connected underneath my driver and passenger seats? They are not power seats so what do these connectors do?

RE: Cigarette Lighter

im bringing this thread up again because the same just happened to me about a week ago. it is ina 98 explorer. the actual cigarette lighter is not pushed in but the socket is. can anybody think of a way to pull it out without removing the whole panel? the hole is too small to pull it out with something that is clamped onto the edge. if its my only option, can somebody tell me howto remove the panel or link me to a page.
