OK, I own an Aviator, but they are the same thing (sort of) as the Explorer. Anybody know where I can get a painted replacement? The lincoln dealer used to sell them painted, but no longer. Mine is Pearl White. (rear lift window, 2003)

I would like to attempt the repair myself since Ford never improved the part. Anybody replaced theirs and tried techniques to reinforce the part?
