Creaking Sound Under Drivers Seat

Hello everyone....my first post here.

I drive a 2004 Eddie Bauer v8.

Over the last couple months, I've notices a creaking sounds that seems to come from directly under the driver's seat. Its most noticeable when driving at slower speeds, turning, and rolling thru dips (more than bumps it seems).

Any idea what might be the problem and best way to handle it?

Thanks,
Jeff

As you can imagine it is difficult to tell from where I am just what could be the problem.
One of the things that would make a squeaking sound when moving slowly would be a U-joint that is dry and on it's way out. A good visual inspection of the driveline should be able to confirm if this is the case. Some dry u-joints will leave rust trails and some don't if caught early enough. Are you planning to check this yourself or have someone else do it?

Thanks for the replies.

Assuming its the Front Stabilizer Bar Bushings, what am I looking at in repair costs? Please tell me its something minor (just had the transmission rebuilt at 70K so Ford's on my @#$& list).

Thanks again!

Bushings should be 120 or less. Labor 100. depends where you go and who you buy the parts from.
