From D to P
 

Hello all, new to the forum. The past week I noticed that whenI come to a stop inmy 04 Explorer XLT 4x4 and shift the car from D to P, right when I get to R it locks. I have to pause at Rright beforeI put it in P, never did this before, wonder if it's common.
