Default electric brake installation

Hi , i have a 2005 ford explorer limited , i tried to find how to install a n electric brake controller for my trailler, i've been told that i suppose to find a grey plug under the dash to connect the controller , but i dont find it , i called a dealer ford and they told me that it is behind cluster ( what a joke ) it wasn't there , now i dont know where to look, any idea ?

Not sure,,, but looks like it's in the right center/lower dash panel area behind the instrument panel.. Grey connector..Wire colors are PK/WT,LG,DB,BN,BK...
