Default Ford chrome 20 inch rims corroding

My 20 inch chrome rims have and issue... the clear coat has come off in areas and the aluminum is beginning to corrode. Is ford going to address this? Replacing 4 rims is a bit of $$$

Well, questions to are are...

What year vehicle?
Where do you live (Salt belt?)
Are the original tires still on the rims?
Been thru any mechanical car washes?

If you live in the salt belt you'll have exposed the rims to salt and sandblasting on the outer lips of the rims so environment would most likely void any warranty.
If replacement tires have been installed, the clearcoat may have been breached by the removal and installation of the tires by the tire machine operator (Touch-less doesn't always mean true touch-less).
If you have the original tires still on the rims, Ford will look at the environment.
Mechanical car washes can booger up the clearcoat on rims exposing the aluminum to the environment.

Like any other salt belt state, Massachusetts uses rock salt, sand, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride for road clearing. Any little nick or breaching of the clearcoat (just a thin coating) on the rims and they will start to corrode as they are exposed to that type of environment. Been there with several different vehicles. Doesn't matter what MFG. From Ford to Mercedes.
