Default RE: HEART TRANSPLANT

i personally have never done this, but i have talked to a few people about it. if its a 4x4 i wouldnt recomend a 5L because it will tear up your transfer case and transmission. put if its a rear wheel drive only id reccomend putting a new trans in along with the 302. if you have an 8.8 differential in it you wont need to change it unless you intend to bring the HP above 500 or 600. all that ive heard about acctually putting the 302 in is that it can be done, but you deffinatly want to know what your doing because even the 4.0L is a tight fit. i acctually heard that a chevy 350 swaps in easyer, although i dont have any details, anyways, good luck. and what do you plan to do with the 302? are you leaving it stock or suping it up?
