Default rear wheel bearing

I inquired about rear wheel bearings for my '03 V-6 explorer at a local auto parts store. I was told $186.00 perwheel. The say I need the whole hub assy and cannot just by the inner and outer races and bearing. I've never changed out wheel bearings for more than 50 bucks. Does this soundright?

Default RE: rear wheel bearing

The rear bearing 'is' available without the hub..

But, thesuspension will need to be pulled loose at the pinch bolts, brakes, and the spindle will need to removed,, and will require some 'press time' to push the hub off/out of the inner race of the bearing, and then the bearing out of the spindles bore.. These are a double ball caged bearing, and being'wide' they don't easily push out,,, and the hubs yoke out of the bearing is usually an even harder push in most cases.. On install/assembly, it's critical to push/press on the correct area on the bearing or you can damage the bearings seal/s.. I know this

Here's a pic of the hub/bearing for bearing reference....
