Running rough

I have a 2000 explorer 4.0L OHV its running rough intermittently when in drive and stopped there is s ome hesitation when accerlerating in park it seems fine or when i rev it up in park i dont hear any miss or hesitation. No check engine light on Could it be bad gas or dirty fuel filter? Please help

To add i pulled a code even though the engine light wasnt coming on a P0303 Misfire detected cylinder 3 any ideas out there
