Hello all,


My 2006 Explorer recently developed a tapping noise when I turn the rear A/C on. It sounds like it's the rear vent flap on the left side. Sometimes it goes away in a minute or two, mostly it stays on until I shut the rear A/C off. It thumps loud enough to get on my nerves and worst yet: the wife's only nerve (ugh).


Has anyone else experienced this? I was hoping to gain from someone else's experience before I spend all day ripping all the interior side panels out to just take a gander.
