Trailer wiring connector on a 2008 Escape

Hello to all:

My 2008 Escape has a wiring that comes out of the (from behind) left taillight. This wiring can bee noticed if you look under the car right next to the spare tire. This wire ends in a square end female connector with 4 wires (black, brown, yellow and green). I assume this is for the trailer lights. Can somebody tell me where I can find the mail connector in order to make the connection? Can somebody tell me the color code for the wires, which belongs to what?

Thanks.

EW

Generally the standard 4 prong rectangle trailering plug colors are.. White, Green, Yellow, and Brown..

Brown is trailer Park/Running lamps, Green is Right Turn/Stop lamp, Yellow is Left Turn/Stop lamp, and White is Ground or can be black..The trailer end can be purchased at most any auto supply house or RV stores..

Here's a pic of your trailer plug..
