transfer case motor
 

I have a 98 Explorer. The 4wd high and 4wd low keeps flashing (on dashboard) six times,stops for about two minutes then repeats itself over and over. My mode selector is on dash and when I select 4 high or low I have no 4wd at all. I replaced the transfer case motor but nothing changed. Is there a simple relay that needs to be replaced? If so, where is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! It will be snowing soon!
