Where to find keyless entry pad code on 06'

Owners Manual says the factory code is located on the computer module...

Ok...which one? and where is it located on the new body style in the 06' explorer?

have to take it to the dealer and they can use the software to retrieve it from the module. alot of times the dealer will do it for free or even a nice tip to the tech

2002 thru 2007 is in the right panel behind the middle row window. It is below the seat belt mechanism. You have to pull out the top plastic panel off, then loosen the lower panel to be able to see the face of the computer module. The code is on a sticker on the face of the module.

I have 2001 that I bought in 2004 and the dealer didn't know the code. So what I did, I asked the dealer if it was a one owner and they said it was. Then I looked in the glove box and found the paperwork with a phone number and luckily I talked to the original owner who knew the code. I hope that you're that lucky.
