Why does explorer shut off?

Why does explorer shut off?

Can anyone answer why my 1994 Ford Explorer XLT cuts off sometime in the middle of driving? I have changed my battery and done what I believed what would help. Any suggestions?

Failing Crank Sensor?
Failing Coil Pack?

Remove, clean mountingposiction (for a good ground contact) and the electrical connectionfor the coil pack.
