1990 inline 6, need expert for chat

Good day,
I have a 1990 straight 6, 4 wheel drive f150,, it has been kept very well and I want to keep it because "I like the truck". But with 150,000 miles on it, things are starting to happen to it.. Like last week it jumped time, I'm sure of it.. It took some doing to get it started after it suddenly jolted and quit running.. now when I put the timing light on it I cant see the timing marks unless I put the pickup on the #3 cylinder wire... Now that tells me it jumped time..
Anyway I am a good mechanic but I have never done this repair before and need to know how involved it is and how long will it take to do it... Should I take off on a friday and have friday and saturday to do it or is it just a one day job... Maybe you can give me some ideas of what I am going to run into... Any advice would be appreciated..
Thanks
Sonny G.

Boy , this is going back some, but if I remember correctly , when you go to remove the fan clutch assy it an be done without special wrenches, but is easier if you have access to them. The fan clutch is a left hand thread , so when you go to remove it kinda keep that in mind.

If possible try to confirm what you suspect with a compression test.
