1994 tranny question new rebuilt

i have a 1994 f150 4x4 e40d tranny. automatic.
I just had the transmission completely rebuilt by the supposidly #1 shop in the area. Not sure i have an issue with the tranny but here goes.
First the wife says she has read this is common on these trucks so maybe.
When i shift into drive or it shifts going down the road no problem. shift park to drive or reverse to drive no problem
When i shift from park to reverse, bang, when i shift from nutral to reverse bang even if i put it in reverse then slip it to nutural and back to reverse there is a bang.
I dont get it. all driveline joints are new and rear end does not seem to be much slack at all it is a limited slip tho.
I cant see if it were the rear end slack or such why it would not bang in drive also??
Thanks

Check your motor and transmission mounts.

They may have not cleaned the plates in there on the rebuild it does get looked over sometimes during the rebuild my dad has a 1994 Ford Econoline and it done the same thing so what we did is put A product called LubeGaurd in it and it cured it I am a professional mechanic and I stand by that product it works amazing
