Went to back out of drive and truck made a terrible noise and shudder, then would not go in reverse. Truck will go in drive. The overdrive light on the shifter is blinking. I even tried to push the truck out of driveway but seems locked up. Any suggestions??? A friend said it could possibly be a solenoid in the transmission. Anyway to verify this?

 

i know dodge has problems with their trans solenoids...i would call the dealership and talk to a service writer...this may be a common issue...im not sure.
