2005 F150 reduced engine power code

why does this seem to go off and then when I restart it goes away for a bit but comes right back, I also have a low RPM hesitation when pulling a hill.

What is the code number you are getting? Need engine size and transmission to help you more.

Its a 5.4 automatic. I got the reduced engine power figured out but I still have the hesitation. I have actually completely changed tranny because the overdrive module went out ....it was cheaper to install low mile one out of another truck. All plugs and coil packs were changed. Mass air was changed also. I reprogrammed my computer, so you see I have been busy with this problem. Fuel filter has been changed (multiple times over the course of two years with this problem). Please Help!

You might need to have it put on a high end scanner to have the throttle body PIDS checked. The throttle body had the TPS integrated into it along with a few other goodies. It is also possible the cam phasers are not adjusted correctly. They are adjusted by oil pressure.

can you tell me what was causing your reduced engine power light. Mine just flashed on and off. I have a 2007 F150 4.6L v8 automatic
