2007 front end

I recently bought an 07 with a 5.5in lift. I was driving the truck today and when i went to turn out of a parking lot it started naking this buzzing noise. At first I thought it was something stuck in the tires. Then I soon realized it only makes this sound when I accelerate. Not like a metal grinding noise but like something is slaping against something else. Any ideas?

could be a number of things...perhaps brake pad wear tabs rubbing on rotors......could be bad cv axle or front diffential problem(if truck is 4x4)..or could be bad wheel bearing...

are you sure its not power steering? it it a buzzing noise like honeybees? or is it a whine?

I would jack up front end and pull wheels to visually inspect brakes and wheel bearings...how many miles on the truck?

is your check engine light coming on? notice any changes in engine preformance? Check vacuum lines.

this sounds silly...but have a friend stick his head out the window and try to listen where sound is coming from when you accelerate...

good luck
