I have an 89 extended cab with the 5.0. I was wanting to change the exhaust up from the current setup of straight pipes(no cats) into dual 12in glasspacks. I was thinking of straight pipes all the way or some type of high flow mufflers. I want more sound and I'm going to leave the cats off. Any suggestions?

If you really want to make it roar get yourself some shorty headers. You will have to change the plugs though and its a pretty tough job but its worth it if you want to turn some heads.
