89 F150 Cutting Out, starting problems

1st of all, thanks to everyone who posts here, it is a huge help.

My problem is in a 1989 ford F150, 2wd, reg cab, inline 6 cylinder, manual trans. I have only had the old truck a a month. While driving, the truck just cuts out. Every gear, at about 1/2 way down on the gas pedal, the truck just loses power. If you press the clutch and rev it up, it seems to be ok until you grab another gear and the truck gets back in the same rpm range. No service engine light is on. I replaced the wires and plugs and fuel filter. It has also had some starting problems and I think a new fuel pump relay fixed it? (also fixed 2 vaccum lines at the same time) Truck ran flawless for the first couple of weeks and then the starting problems started occuring and I let it sit for about 2 weeks before getting it started yesterday. Thanks again and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anthony
