94 F-150 struggling to start

I have a 94 f150 and I crank and crank on it and it takes forever to start. I thought it was a clogged fuel filter so replaced that, same issue. Ran a couple of sea foam bottles through it thinking the injectors weren’t giving it enough but it still does the same thing. Does anyone else have this problem or know where to start diagnosing it?

Check fuel pressure. 4.9 should be 45-60 psi and V-8 should be 30-45 psi.

How does it run once it starts?
If OK, next time , turn the key off and on few times for the fuel system to prime the lines. If it starts better then, fuel system is draining back and there is a malfunctioning check valve in the in tank fuel pump module. The entire module(Sending unit & pump) will need to be replaced.

I checked it today and fuel had a psi of 39. Well within range for the v8.

It runs great once it’s started, just getting it to start up is the hard part LOL. I’ve also noticed that fuel from the rear tank is draining into the front tank. I read it is a faulty fuel tank sector valve with the two tanks from the ford trucks of this year. Do you think that’s what’s causing the issue here as well?

You need to change the fuel pump module in the front tank.
