97 f150 squeaking noise when in reverse and when driving slow in forward

I have a 97 F150 and have a squeaking noise when in reverse that is getting louder. It seems to squeak on every rotation of the drive shaft or wheels. I am thinking that it sounds like a dry u-joint however, there is no play in the u-joint that is noticable. Has anyone had this experence? I am at approximatly 125,000 mi.

A dry U-joint will not show signs of play or looseness. That happens after they burn up. Remove the driveshaft and check for a stiffy.
