97F-150 4.2l Bought from DEALER block and trans. still problem.

Good Day to you all,

I purchased a NEW F-150 in 1997. At about 150,000 the engine gave out. I bought a new long block from the dealer. Within another 50,000 the Transmission gave out. I bought a remanufactured transmission from the DEALER. The engine was doing ok until a few months ago when I asked for some advice from the FORD FORUM which aided my resolution of the problem. In the course of reading the forum I learned that the F-150 with the 4.2l engine was involved in a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT and SETTLEMENT, which, I knew NOTHING ABOUT. The transmission which I am using now and which I purchased from a Ford Dealer is acting up and will probably have to be replaced pretty soon. I have over 500,000 on the vehicle and take very good care of it. I want to keep it around. IS THERE ANY RECOURSE THAT I CAN TAKE FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE BLOCK PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE. Will Ford Pay?
The issues are their issues. i live with them. Billy
