98 f150 dead

Hi 98 f-150 standard. my wife was backing up stalled it, now it wont start. It makes a clunk noice once when you try to start it. so far I have tied new battery, blocking out neutral safety switch, and creating new ground. Nothing helps. Any ideas?

RE: 98 f150 dead

Did you check the starter connections as well as the starter relay?.. If you already bridged the clutch pedal position switch (CPP), try jumping the starter relay direct on the right/passenger firewall area, by adding 12V to theT/R wire to close the relay to see if it then cranks.. BE SURE the truck is in neutral with brake set and/or a helper.. Is this truck remote anti theft equipped? This will take the CPP and the starter interupt relay out of the diagnostic..
