Default Brake Line Question

I had to replace the front brake line in my 93 F-150, the one that runs across the front axle from the left to right caliper. Problem is the line I bought is just a little too long and I cannot cut and flare it. Would it be ok just to add a loop in the line to take up the slack? or would that have a negative effect on the braking? I wouldnt think it would matter much but I wanted to get some opinions. Thanks - Logan

Yeppers, I had to do the same out of my master cylinder. A sweet loop-dy-loop before the next connection. It works just fine. Like davis paul said, be sure you don't kink the line.

Bent the new line into shape, threw in an extra loop, and she seems to work good. Thanks
